Dr. Eliza Holmgren
Founder & Clinical Director, PsyD
Grounded, relational care for people healing from complex trauma and disconnection.
Eliza founded Fen Therapy around a simple belief: healing becomes more possible when people feel understood in the context of their relationships, communities, and lived experiences. She works with adults carrying complex trauma, chronic stress, and patterns of disconnection that can make everyday life feel guarded or exhausting.
In her practice, Eliza has developed a steady, collaborative style that makes room for both reflection and practical change. As clinical director, she also supports thoughtful client matching and consultation across Fen's team so that care remains connected rather than isolated.

How Eliza Works
Her approach attends to the body's signals alongside thoughts, emotions, family history, and present-day relationships. Sessions move at a pace that supports safety and choice, helping clients notice protective patterns without judging the ways those patterns once helped them survive.
Eliza sees therapy as a shared process. She brings curiosity and honest feedback while inviting clients to shape the work, name what is or is not helping, and build forms of connection that can extend beyond the therapy room.
